The San Bernardino Sun is reporting The Victor Valley Wastewater Reclamation Authority said Tuesday that work has been completed on a bypass of damaged waste water pipeline in the High Desert that caused a sewage spill and contamination to three wells serving Oro Grande.
"Reclamation authority personnel have been testing private wells downstream from the damaged pipeline and the first eight wells tested negative for coliform bacteria. But three of the four wells supplying water to Oro Grande remain closed, San Bernardino County officials said Wednesday. One of the closed wells has tested negative for coliform and the other two continue to test positive, said county spokesman David Wert. It is unknown when the clean well will be back in service."
